Open up medicine to effective prevention and cure.

The attached is a scan of a book written by James C. Thomson of the Kingston Clinic in Edinburgh, a place where cancer and other diseases were cured by dietary intervention.

The introduction says that the book was written in response to a speech by the then Minister of Health Kingsley Wood broadcast at Christmas 1937, promising that in the search for a cure for cancer, no stone would be left unturned. (Where have I heard that before?) The intro then continues:

"His almost immediate repudiation of that promise produced a quite remarkable surge of indignation among Nature Cure adherents who had witnessed, or personally experienced, what could be achieved by natural methods. Apparently only selected stones were to be turned..."

The file is in MS Word format, but somehow page sizes are not standard. It can be read, but there is trouble printing it out. Perhaps someone knows how to fix the file and would do so and post a better formated copy...

The attachment is called NatureCure11.doc (see below)

A large file (22 of megabytes) of the original scan of the book is available here:

Sepp, I shall direct one of our computer operators to enter the story in word with inserted photographs/charts/tables.
Can't promise when, because right now we are neck deep in other research work. But if you have time, we can do it. Subject to copyright laws.

Kind regards
Arun

Arun,

I don't have the actual book. This file was forwarded to me from a friend in the UK, who had bought it for practically nothing some time ago and scanned it for a friend who has cancer.

Don't take anyone off work that needs doing for this one!

Kind regards
Sepp

Hi Sepp
Last summer in response to a Vit C article in the Daily Express someone from Aberdeen, if I remember rightly, was saying he was living proof that Vit C works. I read elsewhere that there was a pilot scheme here about 1991 with Linus Pauling and someone else, so presumably this chappie was part of it

Also I was at in Holland just before Easter and there are some amazing results from alternatives
So I will not believe anything they say in the Health Service or media again, as I know it just is not true

I don't know if I should write the following, but here goes
The Health Service is just commercialised sickness, don't be misled into thinking it will help you to get well
They are only interested in the spin offs - and that means keeping people ill for as long as possible
Cancer Research UK is not interested in finding a cure, it just wants as many people as possible to keep feeding it with charitable donations, so it can pretend to the media it is doing something
All for now

Hi Lynne,

I think you have characterized the health system (not only of the UK) in a rather truthful way. There is simply no incentive (except perhaps a moral one) to "produce" health. Statistics and rewards need to be looked at if we are ever to overcome that problem.

On vitamin C - yes, of course it works. I'm also proof of that - taking several grams every day!

Hi Sepp
My friend did a piece on CRUK (cancer research)
It actually only invests less than 1p per £ 100 in research, despite saying only 21% is for admin. The report and accounts is different if you feel like dredging through the 64 pages. We've come to the conclusion that Race for Life (running for fundraisers) is a mordern day Hitler Youth - its good for getting people fit and healthy, but don't expect the money raised to benefit those suffering from cancer - it's mostly for salaries, pensions and investment. It makes for a good read if you are interested

Also in the Alumini mag at B'ham University there's a piece about new developments in cancer and they are looking at the Mumps virus. I ask you what a waste of time and money. And then my son brings home a leaflet all about B'ham University and it is proud of having discovered Vit C back in 1937. What has happened in the intervening 72 years ? Has common sense gone to the wind ?

Best wishes
Lynne

Interesting, Lynne, about Cancer Research UK only spending 1 p on research for every 100 £ collected. It shows they are frauds as clearly when collecting, they say the money goes towards finding a cure for cancer. I am sure that Northerntracey would be interested in that. She has a myspace page where she goes under the name 'charitywatch'.

http://www.myspace.com/charitywatch

and this stuff seems to be what she's looking for.

Meanwhile, a cure for cancer has been known to exist for 80 years !!! It was described by Gerson, and is the subject of a recent film titled The Beautiful Truth which can be found here:

And yes, common sense does seem to have gone to the wind!
