Today, medicine treats disease as a source of revenue in its business model. The pharmaceutical paradigm of Western medicine addresses symptoms, not the causes of disease.

"Modern scientific medicine" is propped up by health authorities in the industrialized world. Alternatives that do not fit the model are looked down upon, information is suppressed and the practice discouraged.

Health depends very much on what we eat, on the nutrition our cells receive and on the proper functioning of our metabolic pathways. Emotional and environmental factors also influence health.

There is a wealth of information on prevention and on curing the so-called "uncurable" diseases, much of it suppressed in an effort to uphold modern medicine's disease model.

Openness and freedom of choice would seem to be important. This network is a meeting place for those in favor of plurality and openness in health matters.
